The NYT's in-kind donation to Trump 2020
Working class whites increasingly feel like MSM elites hate and mock them. This is helping fuel the “fake news” narrative. But rather than trying to earn back their trust, the New York Times' hiring of Sarah Jeong, a tech writer who has sent out hundreds of racist tweets about whites, seems to confirm Trump’s narrative. I talked about it on CNN with Don Lemon.
It's the economy, stupid?
While the political world swirls with turmoil, the U.S. economy is thriving. My latest column for the Daily Beast asks the question: What would Donald Trump's approval ratings look like if he just got off Twitter and focused on the low unemployment rate and economic growth?
I also joined Jamie Weinstein's podcast to talk about what it would take for me to vote for Trump in 2020.
Springfield Confidential
The Simpsons have been on the air for 30 years now, which suggests they must be doing something right. I recently had a chance to chat with Emmy-award winning Simpsons writer Mike Reiss. Aside from having a hilarious discussion, Reiss clued me on The Simpsons' only rules: Deep down, the family has to love one another. Listen to my talk with Mike Reiss about his new book "Springfield Confidential."

What I'm Digging
I finally got around to watching the HBO documentary on Robin Williams. It's worth seeing, if only because it reinforces the fact that you can have it all, and still not be happy. It'll also remind you of just how talented and gifted he was.
On a more fun note, check out the Rewatchables podcast on the 30th anniversary of Die Hard (which is NOT a Christmas movie). I was in the theaters back in July of 1988 when this film first blew me away. It completely redefined the action genre. Check out the podcast!
