Three quick (and fun) updates for Labor Day Weekend
I've got a three quick, but exciting, things to share with you today:
1. I'm excited to unveil a brand new eBook, t-shirt, and "Matt Lewis & The Brews" beer stein on my Patreon page.
The new eBook is titled, Matt Lewis and the Newsmakers: Lessons I Learned from Adam Carolla, Tucker Carlson, Erick Erickson, Ana Marie Cox, and Other Podcast Guests. It's full of life and career lessons that I think you will benefit from as much as I have. And it's available to any patron who pledges $3 or more per month to support my podcast.
2. This coming Wednesday, September 5, is the Leadership Institute's Opinion Leaders Workshop.
If you've ever wondered how commentators get on TV, how authors get book deals, or how social media influencers grow active Twitter followings, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
During the workshop, I will also be interviewing new media maven Shoshana Weissman about social media, conservative political commentator and former Ted Cruz comms director Alice Stewart about breaking into punditry, and book agent extraordinaire Matt Latimer to talk about how to land that elusive book deal.
Register before Saturday, September 1, and pay a discounted rate of just $30 -- which includes two meals! And if you aren't able to make it to the DC area, you can still watch online for just $10 -- and help spread the word to your friends on Facebook.
3. Lastly, don't miss my excellent recent podcast interviews.
This week, I talked to Bradley R. Staats about his book Never Stop Learning: Stay Relevant, Reinvent Yourself, and Thrive, and I talked to award-winning journalist and novelist Will Storr about his new book, Selfie: How the West Became Self-Obsessed.
