Hear me out: Amash for President in 2020
Vote for Trump or a Democrat in 2020. Not much of a choice, if you ask me.
That's why I think it's time to draft Justin Amash for the 2020 presidential race. Don't get me wrong - I don't think he can win. But a candidate like him would allow people like me to participate in a general election without selling our souls in the process.
In a recent article I wrote for the Daily Beast, I discuss the conundrum facing principled conservatives in the coming presidential election and why Amash is one of very few politicians today that I could support in good conscience.
