"And the Oscar Goes To..."
Despite having a full time job (impeachment, State of the Union, Iowa caucuses...), a lovely wife, and two terrific kids, I still found time to watch EVERY MOVIE NOMINATED FOR BEST PICTURE this year.
If you are remotely interested in film (and don't mind a lot of spoilers!), check out this conversation with my friend William Beutler.
We spent some time discussing the merits of each nominee (“Joker,” “Little Women,” “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood,” etc.), and ultimately agreed that while "1917" is likely to win, the best movie of 2019--the one you should definitely see, if you're only going to see one--is "Parasite."
Of course, if you want to know why, you'll have to give it a listen.
